Student housing for student success

The Division of Student Affairs’ multifaceted facilities are designed to meet the needs and expectations of the campus community and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all.

Nothing impacts the quality of life for students who live on campus more than the caliber of their on-campus housing. As the University of Miami continues to rise as a top-tier research institution, so do students’ expectations for a comfortable, secure, and supportive living and learning environment.

The opening of Lakeside Village in August 2020 marked the first phase of a multiyear plan to modernize on-campus housing. Now the University turns its attention to Centennial Village, which will serve as a hallmark of the Coral Gables Campus and support the University’s efforts to competitively recruit top academic and athletic talent. Within Centennial Village, live-in faculty members as well as professional and student staff members will support and enhance the first-year experience. Additionally, Centennial Village will be positioned to take advantage of the many outdoor and programmatic elements of the Coral Gables Campus that surrounds Lake Osceola.
