Campus support and academic enrichment

Preparing our students to achieve their educational, personal, and professional goals is core to our mission. As is providing support to help them overcome any challenges they may face.

The University is committed to promoting well-being and resiliency in our students through programs, services, and facilities—from the Counseling Center to the Department of Wellness and Recreation to the Sandler Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Education—that teach and foster dynamic coping, mindfulness, and conflict-management skills while providing the mental-and physical-health support needed to become productive and engaged members of a global society.

Additionally, the Camner Center for Academic Resources assists students who need extra support with peer tutoring across a wide range of disciplines, offers services and resources for students with disabilities, and teaches students skills and strategies to achieve academic success.
