Combat human trafficking through education
We understand that human trafficking must be framed as a public health priority, requiring a comprehensive strategy to address its primary causes.
The School of Nursing and Health Studies will develop and disseminate academic coursework tailored to maximize understanding of the issues underlying human trafficking and improve clinical responsiveness in assisting potential victims. We will also proactively partner with community efforts to promote awareness and facilitate interconnectedness among all cross-professional entities aligned in solidarity against human trafficking.
