Confronting society’s biggest challenges
Miami Law is dedicated to serving as a force for positive change through its clinics and programs, which give students hands-on practical experience while serving individuals and communities most in need of legal assistance.
Our moot court program—ranked 21st in the country—teaches advocacy skills. Our clinics directly engage students in a wide range of issues, from bankruptcy to child welfare, environmental justice to health rights, investor rights to immigration, and human rights to landlord-tenant disputes. Immersing students in the realities of practice under the supervision of attorneys offers them a firsthand understanding of the law’s role in addressing the most pressing 21st-century challenges and gives them the lawyering skills essential to a successful career. Because our clinics serve underrepresented communities, they enhance Miami Law’s impact as a force for positive change.
