Feeding the world
World hunger is a massive challenge that requires sustainable, innovative solutions. The Rosenstiel School stands ready to build on our existing, vast experience in aquaculture to develop powerful approaches to feeding the world, while preserving threatened species.
To elevate the school’s position as a global leader in aquaculture science, we seek to upgrade and modernize our existing hatchery, which will enable us to conduct the innovative research necessary to achieve profound breakthroughs and mobilize meaningful action against global hunger. In addition, endowed professorships and scholarships will create a diverse roster of talent, to increase our research output, train the future aquaculture work force, and be a resource for the industry.
